Aletheia is the latest project by composer and pianist Elisabet Raspall. This album, winner of the 2026 Enderrock Award for Best Jazz Album, confirms an already established career and clearly highlights the influence the artist draws from her classical training.

Conceived through a unique quartet featuring strings, the record is an exercise in introspection and self-exploration. In Ancient Greece, Aletheia was linked to the idea of truth as a verifiable fact: only that which is present is true. Thus, the project seeks to be an authentic expression of the artist's essence.

Through these compositions, the musicians express a profound desire and a longing to connect with cultural roots. Like a chain linking memory and the future, Aletheia becomes a faithful companion to the heartbeat. It reminds us of our purpose and helps us carry it with us always.
