IGNASI TERRAZA GUITAR TRIO

The piano-guitar-bass formula began to be known in the late 1940s, made popular by Nat King Cole's trio. Over the next decades, great jazz pianists recorded with this line-up, and nowadays fans still remember the piano-guitar-bass trios of Oscar Peterson, Ahmad Jamal, Hank Jones and Monty Alexander, among others. Ignasi Terraza, one of the most acclaimed local pianists, has also aimed to contribute to this formation with a solid group with lots of swing: the Barcelona pianist will be accompanied by Carla Motis on guitar and Queralt Camps on double bass.
